Question : Can anyone give me a love reading, or help me out with giving myself a reading?
A love reading about a guy I’ve recently come across and interested in.
Can anyone give me a quick reading, or if anyone is willing to help me out doing my own reading with tarot cards. I haven’t used them for a while, and I don’t know what spread to use for a love divination. : /

Question : How did you know your tarot deck was right for you?
I recently found a gorgeous deck that I relate to, but it’s rather expensive. How did you discover your cards and their personal value to you?

For me the cards just spoke to me on a very personal level,I looked at the R W deck and many others most had imagry that I didn’t care for.Such as the portrayal of the death card in the rw deck all the symbolism is there for the meaning but for me it just didn’t click.Same with the devil card. The RW deck seems to draw very heavily from judeo-christian world view I like my cards to tell me thire story with out the heavy trappings of a faith path that is not mine. I like the mythic Tarot alot also I am experimenting with the fairy tale tarot each card is a depiction of a well known fairy tale.

My first deck? I liked the concept. I love cats and it was the “tarot of the cat people”… I can’t say that it inspired me to study much. IT took years for me to get motivated to actuall ystudy with them and I’ve collected several decks since. The one that I eventually got to study with was the “Fey Tarot”… I thought the artwork was enchanting, beautiful and adorable… it captured my imagination, which is key. Once I studied with the cards, however, I learned how to chose decks that speak to me…
You want a deck that you find aesthetically appealing so that you are motivated to use it, but you also want a deck that meets your systematic needs. That could mean that you look for a deck that follows a specific depiction system (like those based on the Rider-Waite-Smith depictions) or you look for one where the images really seem to say a lot to you. The Hanson-Roberts deck, Morgan Greer deck, the Fenestra deck and the official Los Scarabeo deck are all good decks that are very close to the Rider Waite in their images. Any deck will do though… find one whose images appeal to you and that “speak” to you.
To choose a good deck for yourself you’ll want a deck that first of all you find appealing… something that will motivate you to use the cards. More importantly, however, you’ll want a deck that “speaks” to you. Find a sample image of one (or several) of the cards. Ask a somewhat random sample question and then look at the image… how would you answer your question if you pulled that card? If the answer comes fairly easily, then it might be a good deck. If it’s a struggle, then it might not be a good deck for you, even if you find it really beautiful.
After studying with my deck, I discovered the “Shadowscapes Tarot” and love the artwork and find the depictions fairly easy to intepret. I also went back to my “Cosmic Tarot” and studied it and now I feel that it will be one of my most useful decks because the faces are so expressive. Weirdly, I also feel a good connection to my mini “Viscontti” deck, which is odd because it was a gift and every other deck I’ve been gifted hasn’t worked well for me and also because it doesn’t have beautiful artwork or any artwork at all on the numbered cards, which you’d think would make it harder to read, but for me, it frees up the symbolism.
I guess you could say I didn’t know which decks were “right” for me until I started using them and studying them. I have several decks that I bought because I thought I’d like them, but they just don’t speak to me very well and, as with the Viscontti, some decks surprise me with an unexpected connection.
Question : Anyone willing to read me for free?
I’d like to have a free reading including tarot cards. Maybe past lives, what my future holds and my career path along with love life. I can recommend you to others depending on how satisfied I am with your accuracy. Thanks!

I see that you are a gullible person and easily misled and your future will have some misfortune if you continue in your lack of logic.

That’s a lot to ask for. Past lives is kinda hard to do and career paths aren’t my forte.. So, I will do a reading that everybody and their mother does.. A love life reading! (I really don’t care if you recommend me or not, I’m learning so I give readings for free right now.)
Also, if you want.. You can pm me about the career or past life spread.. I feel more comfortable doing those readings in private.
I made my own spread, if you don’t mind.
“This is you.” – 1 – Ten of Swords, betrayal or loss. This is a pretty sad card. My deck is a picture of a man with ten swords in his back. Usually in the “you” position it means somebody who is the victim or martyr. Swords deal with the mind and doesn’t actually mean real stabbing. This is a clear indication that you should put your trust elsewhere.
“This is your past.” (Dealing with love.) – 2 – Knight of Pentacles – This Knight is all about taking things slow. This usually means less about romance and more about being dependable. We’re not really seeing any flowers or romantic dates in the past here. A bit dull, a bit too cautious.
“Your love life now.” – 3 – Seven of Wands – Taking a stand. Fire is associated with the wands, which brings personal growth and sometimes aggressive behavior. Things happen fast with fire. But, with the Seven of Wands specifically, it’s all about calling people out who have done you wrong or just saying something when you had been quiet before.
“Love Problems.” – 4 – Eight of Pentacles. – Are you too busy with your work to even think about relationships or your relationship? This may be your problem. You don’t have enough time to think about love because you have other things on your mind. Problems with dedication and commitment. Pentacles indicate that this might have been here for a long time as pentacles deal with the element of Earth.
“Future advice or, overall advice. ” – 5 – Ace of Wands – All up right aces are good omens, I believe. The Ace of Wands tells us that you should have confidence with love. But, especially combined with the ten of swords, I think the best advice I could give you would be to let go of old ideas and mentalities that aren’t working anymore. Take a new approach and with the seven of wands in place, take a stand. Be bold.
