Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Do multiple tarot readings show accuracy in my future?

I’ve had 5 tarot/psychic readings done within the past 2-3 weeks from 5 different sources. I first asked for one through a free email and got my reading. This didn’t suffice so I payed for a short online psychic/tarot reading/chat, again it was the same reading. So I went and saw an in person one with a friend last Sunday, once again it was the same reading with same future outcome. I posted a question here asking about readings and generalizations and somebody answered with a 3 card tarot reading and with the same as the previous 3 readings. Before my friend talked me into seeing the one in person I found a psychic on etsy.com who I payed (inexpensive) for a 20 card love reading, a week later which was today I watched the video she sent me with her choosing and reading the 20 cards. After 5 readings, the video I got today being the final, it all said the same thing.

The part of my life I hang onto most and feel most curious about is the relationship between my ex girlfriend and I so each reading I asked for what’s to come between us, if anything. EVERY reading said she is very confused, has a lot to think about with her whole life and is dealing with a lot of stress but we will get back together around this summer. Each reading said this but with obviously much more detailed and very specific and relevant, nothing I was told seemed off and I could relate everything said to a specific person or event that has happened. Out of sheer skepticism is why I kept seeking more answers, to see how consistent it was, and it was all very consistent.

But since I’m new to tarot and the world of psychics does this seem like I was just told a lot of what I’d most likely want to hear or does this actually seem accurate? I mean it’s peculiar to think that 5 different people from 5 different sources all said we’d get back together, even within a time frame. Thanks for checking this out.

Tarot cards are exactly as accurate as a magic eight ball.

Here is a personality assessment I worked out for you based on your question:

You have a great need for other people to like and admire you. You have a tendency to be critical of yourself. You have a great deal of unused capacity which you have not turned to your advantage. While you have some personality weaknesses, you are generally able to compensate for them. Your sexual adjustment has presented problems for you. Disciplined and self-controlled outside, you tend to be worrisome and insecure inside. At times you have serious doubts as to whether you have made the right decision or done the right thing. You prefer a certain amount of change and variety and become dissatisfied when hemmed in by restrictions and limitations. You pride yourself as an independent thinker and do not accept others’ statements without satisfactory proof. You have found it unwise to be too frank in revealing yourself to others. At times you are extroverted, affable, sociable, while at other times you are introverted, wary, reserved. Some of your aspirations tend to be pretty unrealistic. Security is one of your major goals in life.

Does this seem accurate to you?

Whether you found it accurate or not, you should check out the Forer Effect.

So-called psychics tell you what you want to hear. There is no evidence anywhere that anyone has any form of psychic ability. Those who claim such ability are either deluded or charlatans. The charlatans charge you money.

The tarot readings provide you with opportunities to CREATE the future you want. There is actually no clear evidence that the future is predictable. However, people all over the world and throughout recorded history have reported synergistic events and predictions-come-true.

It’s clear you care greatly about your ex-girlfriend and you would like to get back together. If the tarot readings are consistent with your experience (your ex is having a stressful time in her life, etc.), what did the reading say about what you can do right now to support her? More importantly, what does your best judgement say about that? Since the readings suggested you may get back together this summer, consider that she may need space and/or just friendship right now.

Use the tarot readings to consider the best approach to your relationship, so you can nurture the future you would like to have with this person. The tarot may provide some ways to think about this and perhaps even some guidelines (for example, giving her space then reaching out again in the summer, or waiting until summer before bringing up questions about your romantic relationship).

I wish you all the best! Your care and thoughtfulness will serve you well. Let us know what happens.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Are Tarot Evil? Yes I think so, you?

Hi, I was very “drawn” to both Tarot and “Angel” cards (the sugar coated pretty ones masquerading as real angels) and I gave it a go, I purchased some Angel cards from the spirituality section of my local Boarders book shop. I have always had a fascination for all things new age and hunger for knowledge and I guess comfort. I took the pack home and started doing “readings” all the messages were very nice and sweet and I thought well, this is ok. I had my Bible to hand as I was a bit scarred of what I may be messing with, and already had a good faith in Jesus and God and felt sure they would protect me if I was barking up the wrong tree. I felt instantly that on some level this was not actually a good thing, and I was compelled to open the Bible at that point, for an answer and guidance, and the page I randomly opened it on was the message that my eyes fell upon, it said “Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God-I say this to your shame.” Well it hit home and I threw the cards out immediately. Although I “wanted” to keep them I could not ignore God’s message. And now here’s the weird thing, 4 months later I totally forgot about the warning message and I found myself curious again and progressed from a few weeks of playing with crystals and books on aura’s etc to buying ANOTHER set of “Angel” cards. It was like a seduction, they drew me in. Long story short I ended up with a set of angel cards and they told me such wonderful things, there was def a power in them as the same readings and spread kept coming up, I felt truly connected to the divine and would sit there with my bible, say a prayer and then use them, forgetting that I had had the warning before. I even decide buying a proper “tarot deck” would be a good idea! I still wasn’t sure about the tarot cards and so they were still in the box but I was using the angel cards. I then decided to try an online 7 day tarot reading “for free” to dabble a bit and see what it was like, the seven day reading came up with a card for each day, all was fine until I saw Wednesday… Yes you’ve guessed it, the DEATH card was there. ****** was my first thought, I then spent ages reading up on internet how it “rarely” means actual death of you or a person you love, more that a big change is coming! Something is dying in your life and a new beginning is coming. It was a bit reassuring, but not allot!! So at the weekend before THE Wednesday I was by the seaside and decided I needed more reassurance and so went to see a “professional” tarot reader. He did the reading and I got no feeling of love or anything else good from him. It all felt very dark. Death came up AGAIN and he reassured me that it didn’t mean mine but that a change was coming etc and that there would need to be about 8 other cards present to indicate my actual death. I felt reassured of that but the “wrong” feeling to it all still left me uneasy. So last week there I was sat at my kitchen table again doing a reading to the so called “Angels” cards “the nice cards”, and they were telling me wonderful stuff I felt a real connection with them, and then out the blue I just thought, hold on, this doesn’t feel right, the messages on some of the cards would ask you to pray to these “angels” for help on certain issues etc. And if there angels, why did I have to pass the cards through burning sage as the author of the cards Doreen Virtue advised n the book. She also tells you on some of her cards to knock them with your fist the first time you use them to get rid of any “Lower Energies” how scarry is that! And whats Angelic about that? I dont have to knock my Bible!! Its more like witchcraft!!
So as I was sat there I opened my Bible again and the exact page I opened it at was the message I had been shown from God before: “Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God-I say this to your shame.” O my God!!!! How had I forgotten that this happened before??!! I really didn’t want to as I felt so comforted and connected to these Angel cards but I threw them and my unused Tarot Cards away. And I had a book that you open to any page for a message from an Angel that went to. The next morning I woke up OBSESSING about wanting the cards back, I reasoned that maybe it was a coincidence that the page opened just before the reading this time so maybe it was a fluke etc. I needed the cards back, they were my friends the pull was amazing. I dropped to my knees and said a prayer to God and Jesus asking them for help, knowing that I was going to retrieve them from the outside bin. I asked for a clear message of help and direction,I picked up my new Bible I had purchased recently which contains both the Old and New testaments, I had only had a new one before and thought I would give the Old Testament a go. I picked up my new Bible I had purchased recently which contains both the Old and New testaments, I had only had a new one before and thought I would give the Old Testament a go. My new Bible has aprox one thousand two hundred pages of small text. The page I opened it and that I looked at first said “Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin.” I could not reason this away nor did I seek to, I knew it as the truth, there was no way I was not being spoken to and seriously warned by God.

No, I don’t think so. While it’s not my personal belief, if someone finds their path to being a better person that way, who am I to judge? Who says God (or the deity of your choice) can’t speak that way?

Answer by Nacona
Evil is the lack of moral perfection, it is not an entity

Answer by Challenge
God was warning you against the greatest mistake that you could ever make in your life – associating yourself with demons (God’s enemies) after you have known Christ.

The “angels” in those cards are actually demons and they want you to pray to them instead of to God. Thank Jesus that He revealed all this to you and go to a pentecostal church in your area for fellowship.

The Devil wanted to deceive you and drag your soul into Hell but Jesus unmasked him! Praise the Lord!

Answer by veracityw
oh, please.

you don’t think you are telling fortunes when you seek out random quotes from your bible and use them to guide your behavior? it’s exactly the same process as doing a tarot reading and using that to guide your behavior.

i’m not saying that either method is wrong, just that you need to be honest about what you are actually doing. messages from the divine come in many ways, and it does not behoove any of us to reject them simply because they come from the “wrong’ publication.

Answer by CassandraofTroy
Don’t worry. You are being drawn to such things because it is a calling from God. I went through the same thing. Think of the images on tarot cards as pictures of souls. They are disturbing aren’t they?
Tarot is sacred. This is what my angels told me. They allow a person to access the Thrones (they arementioned in the bible). The thrones are cool beings. They sort of “process” future events. They don’t determine the future but the future sort of passes through them. I can’t explain it further. It’s very hard to understand.
When you start acessing the angelic world, your mind opens. You then have “ears to hear with and eyes to see with” It takes courage. Put away the tarot and use crystals instead. Get an amethyst and charge it in the sun for a day. Wear it day and night and touch it when you pray. Your dreams will become so cool. Yes, you may encounter things that frighten you. This journey is not easy. Visit my website. no gimmicks, no sales, all free. I am a Christian.

Answer by thecityoftownsville_2000
Tarot cards are not evil. In fact, the original symbolism of the Tarot trumps is rooted in Christianity. Tarot cards first appeared in northern Italy during the 15th century. They were used for card games similar to Bridge or Spades. Tarot games are played today in continental Europe. It wasn’t until the 18th century that Tarot cards were used in fortune telling and the occult.

Answer by Aingeal
The Tarot was originally and is still mostly used in Europe as a playing card deck. They were not and are not originally or only used for fortune telling. It is fortune-telling that is forbidden by your new bible, not card games. I can tell fortunes from a normal deck of playing cards as easily as I can from Tarot. So your pemise is flawed.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : question about tarot cards?

so my friend did that for me and it said one of my friends was my soul mate. i just asked what he thought about me but now i kind of am falling for him BUT i have a boyfriend and the cards said something about making a tough decision because my boyfriend is a liar. i dont even know if any of this is true. what do you think? are tarot cards just bullshit or the real deal?

Answer by Christ-burger
They were real. You have the gayer version. People do not need powers. Too cool for them

Answer by peetr
They are bs, your boyfriend might be a liar anyway, but your reading doesn’t prove squat.

Answer by Jamie
Your messing with witchcraft ..

Answer by Scarlet MacBlu
The tarot cards didn’t tell you that your boyfriend is a liar… your friend did.
The cards don’t speak on their own, they need an interpreter. Some interpreters are better then others. One of several things could be happening here:
1.) Your friend has a crush on you (or knows someone who does) and wants to encourage you to dump your boyfriend to go out with him and used the ‘reading’ as a means of telling you this.
2.) Your friend is messing with you.
3.) Your friend isn’t very good at reading cards.
4.) Your boyfriend is really a liar and someone you know is in love with you.

Cards don’t tell the future and can’t tell you what’s in the heart of another person. They are symbolic guides to intuition… all of the information he gave you came either from his intuition or from his consious mind. The information was from HIM, not the cards, either way. IT’s up to you whether you trust his interpretation of your cards.
Now it’s up to you to use your OWN intuition and logic to figure out if the reading has any practical meaning in your life. Do you trust your boyfriend? Do you want to stay with him? Would you rather explore a relationship with your friend? Don’t rely on the cards to make these choices for you, use your own gut.
Good luck,
-Scarlet
